About the PositionAs a Remote Tagalog Interpreter, you will provide accurate and efficient interpretation in various settings, facilitating effective communication between English and Tagalog speakers.Key Responsibilities: Provide over-the-phone and video consecutive interpretation in medical, legal, and social service environments. Accurately convey messages while maintaining professional neutrality and confidentiality. Research terminology to ensure a thorough understanding of specialized fields. Demonstrate cultural sensitivity to bridge gaps between diverse backgrounds. What We’re Looking For: Bilingual Excellence: Native-level or near-native fluency in both Tagalog and English (C1/C2 level). Professionalism: Ability to handle high-pressure or sensitive situations with grace. Core Skills: Outstanding listening, retention, and note-taking abilities. Experience: Previous interpretation experience is preferred, but we welcome all highly skilled candidates! Technical & Professional StandardsTo ensure the highest quality for our clients, the following setup is required:💻 Workspace & Hardware: OS: Windows 10/11 or macOS 12.7+ (fully updated). Note: Remote/Virtual PCs are not permitted. Specs: CPU Intel 6th Gen (i5-6xxx) or AMD equivalent; 8GB RAM minimum. Internet: Wired connection via Starlink, xDSL, Coaxial, or Fiber. (No LTE/4G or Wi-Fi).
