Senior Java Developer (Performance Focused)

We are looking for a senior Java engineer with a strong performance engineering background to join a global financial technology platform team in Zurich.What you will be doingYou will work within a cross-functional Scrum team on a high-throughput, enterprise-grade platform serving the global Securities Finance and Collateral market. Your focus will be on identifying and eliminating performance bottlenecks, rearchitecting critical components for scalability, and driving the platform's technical evolution alongside senior architects. What we are looking for5+ years of hands-on Java enterprise development (Java SE/JEE, Spring, JPA/Hibernate)Real performance engineering experience acquired through development work: profiling, GC tuning, load testing, bottleneck analysisStrong SQL skills (Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server)Background in financial services or high-throughput enterprise systemsSolid understanding of software design and enterprise architectural patternsExperience working in Agile, distributed team environmentsStrong communication skills in English Good to haveExperience with Kubernetes/OpenShiftCI/CD and DevOps practicesApache Camel or similar integration frameworksFind Jobs in Switzerland on Arbeitnow
