Sourcing Representative

Responsibilities: Be the primary point of contact for inbound raw material. • Make daily sourcing calls from multiples sourcing options. • Understand and monitor the price and competitive market conditions that affect sourcing. • Successfully build, influence and manage internal relationships to achieve sourcing objectives. • Build and maintain relationships with vendors/sources for raw materials. • Using the systems and programs available, provide actionable data and reports to the field and management. • Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required • At least 3-5 years of customer service or sales experience required • Strong relationship building skills, tenacity and sales bias • Action orientated and able to execute quickly • Customer focused (internal and external) – always staying in touch with the customer and their needs • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to create buy in from generator • Ability to effectively present information • Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills • Microsoft Office Suite – above average computer skills including Excel • Strong work ethic • Strong team orientation with ability to work collaboratively • Possess personal drive, self-motivation, and takes initiative to meet all deadlines Originally posted on Himalayas
