Assistant Maintenance ManagerAre you a skilled maintenance professional with a passion for ensuring smooth operations? We’re seeking a dedicated Assistant Maintenance Manager to join our team. Duties & ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement effective maintenance plans and schedules to minimize downtime and maximize equipment efficiency. Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring their adherence to safety protocols and performance standards. Conduct regular preventive maintenance checks on building systems, equipment, and facilities to identify and address potential issues. Respond promptly to maintenance requests, troubleshoot equipment failures, and implement timely repairs. Monitor and control maintenance budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations. Manage relationships with external contractors and vendors, negotiating contracts and overseeing their performance. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry standards. Implement energy-saving initiatives to reduce operational costs and minimize environmental impact. Qualifications and ExperienceProven experience in maintenance management, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting. Strong leadership and supervisory skills. In-depth knowledge of building systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver’s license. Relevant certifications (e.g., HVAC, electrical) are preferred.
