How to make a CV in 5 steps
- Pick a template — modern, minimal or classic. You can switch templates at any time without losing what you have entered.
- Fill in your personal details: name, profession, phone, email and city.
- Add your work experience and education, with 3–5 concrete duties or achievements per role.
- List your skills, languages, certifications and projects.
- Review your CV and download it as a PDF, or share it with a link.
What a good CV includes
Recruiters skim a CV first, so the most important information belongs at the top: your name, profession and contact details, followed by a two- or three-sentence summary of who you are and what you are good at.
List work experience from most recent to oldest. Where you can, state results with numbers — "grew sales by 20%" says more than "worked in sales". Keep the CV to one page, two at most.
An ATS-friendly CV
Many employers screen applications with an applicant tracking system (ATS) first. Every template here is built so that such systems read the text correctly — no tables and no text embedded in images. A final check shows what your CV is still missing, such as contact details or skills.
